Oysters

"I purchased my first ever oysters only a few weeks ago when I was on my Whitby summer holiday. I only brought them to paint them and once I'd cracked them open I did wonder to myself how people are able to eat them raw! However I think that oysters are beautiful, especially the shells which I washed and brought back home with me to paint again in the future. I really wanted to capture the bright white pearlescent inside of the oyster shell in this painting and I'm really pleased with the outcome!"
